So I have spent the better part of the last three days compiling the nominations for the All Bama Section teams and making sure not to count the votes of those who voted more than once (I can figure it out, so why bother?). Anyway, I wanted to pass along a little update.
As I am sure most of you know, two players are running away with the nominations. And here is the real kicker: Right now, they only are separated by TWO NOMINATIONS. Unfortunately for you, I am not going to say who is in the lead, but I will say that one of these players had a double-digit lead heading into today and the other has made up significant ground.
Whoever gets the most noms is the Bama Section POY, so this is getting real interesting and fun for me to tally. So keep those votes coming — those of you who have not voted already, that is!

I think it should be worth noting that the captains (at least) of Samford, LA Tech, and Middle Tenn St should be recognized for getting teams together to make Sectionals. Without them our section doesn’t continue to grow.
Who are these men? I know Grant Millsaps is responsible for much of Samford’s togetherness, but what about the other two newcomers?
They certainly deserve recognition.
agreed
so i do quite a bit of work to get samford to sectionals but i want to come out and say that it is a team effort that gets us there. although we are new i had a group of guys excited to be there and working hard to be a part of the team. its so much fun to just be a part of it. i may be the “captain”, but we just have a good time…
that being said if you haven’t voted already think about the “5th” seeded was able to go undefeated and take home the crown………Chris Bankhead POTY
