Voting procedure

A large number of players have been nominated for All-Bama and Bama Rookie consideration.

Last season, we had a First and Second All-Bama team and it certainly looks like we should be able to accomplish that again this year. There only will be one Bama Rookie team or Bama Freshman of the Year award.

In addition to the team awards, the player who receives the highest total number of votes for the All-Bama team will be designated as the Bama Section Player of the Year. Last year, the designation was shared by Alabama’s Anthony DiGiacco and LSU’s Chris Bankhead.

In addition to the Bama Section POY, the rookie who receives the highest total number of votes for the Bama Rookie team will be designated as the Bama Section Rookie of the Year.

Hopefully, you all had a chance to play against some of most of these players. If not, there are some descriptions and pictures available in the comment section of the original nomination thread.

To vote for All-Bama and Bama Rookie teams, follow this procedure:

• Select seven (7) players from the list above and
• Select seven (7) rookies from the list above and
• Email your selections to:

Only one ballot will be accepted per email address. Please verify your ballot before submitting. Once submitted, you will not be allowed to make changes to your ballot.

You may nominate less than the limit of seven (7) players for either of the teams, but no more than seven (7) for either.

Voting ends Tuesday, April 15, at midnight.
